Family-owned and operated since 1962, founder Mickey Kulwin first opened its prestigious doors in the legendary Thunderbird Hotel. The Thunderbird Hotel is long gone, but not the successful business that was started there. Since 1995, Mickey's son, Darryl, has grown and expanded T-Bird Jewels in a manner that would make his father proud.

Early on, exceptional personal service helped the retailer quickly become established as a popular location for celebrity clients. It was not unusual for personalities like Jerry Lewis, Elvis Presley, Sammy Davis, Jr. or the man famous for his elaborate jewelry, Liberace, to visit the establishment after performances. Then, as well as now, T-Bird Jewels was dedicated to providing a comfortable and friendly environment for an ever-growing, loyal local clientele.

Fulfilling the legacy created by his father, Darryl Kulwin works diligently to uphold the high standards set forth in his father's vision. He expresses his own vision very clearly when he says, "Our goal is to continue the company's traditions of quality, value and exceptional service." He attributes much of the company's continued success to consistency in the store's warm, friendly atmosphere provided by the trained staff, which includes many long-time employees.

T-Bird Jewels carries a diverse inventory that offers its clientele quality designs and outstanding craftsmanship. Some of the noted designers include Michael B, David Yurman, Simon G, Bez Ambar, Steven Lagos and Jeff Cooper. T-Bird Jewels also carries fine timepieces such as Rolex, Cartier, Breitling, Michele, Baume Mercier and Swiss Army.
